Opening Up A
Can of Worms
Inspired by God
Written by Carl a Davenport
A can of
worms, in its natural state, is neatly packed and as full of
worms as it can be. It’s in an inactive state. It is still,
quiet and packed tightly. The can of worms stays that way until
someone opens it. When they do, it is as if it is spring loaded.
The spring loaded lid will pop off and worms will spread
everywhere they can go.
Once the can
of worms is opened, it cannot be repacked neatly enough for all
the worms to be put back into the can. Many of the worms will
not fit back into the can, some of the worms will disappear out
of sight and hide, some will lay just beneath the surface, and
others will rebel and refuse to go back in the can.
Of the worms
that refuse to go back into the can, some represent evil and
will cause changes of atmosphere, or changes of attitudes in the
places where they went when the can was popped opened. These
changes are usually impossible to convert back to the way they
were before the can of worms was opened. Many things will never
again be like they were before the can of worms was opened.
It is usually
smart policy to leave the worms tightly secured in the can when
a can of worms is found, unless every possible reward and
consequence of opening that can of worms is learned and
reviewed, and the person opening the can is prepared for the
unseen and unknown rewards and consequences that are contained
in that can of worms. If one is not prepared for what can happen
when the can of worms is opened, one should not open it.
