Get Fully
Saturated With Forgiveness
Inspired by God
Written by Carl A Davenport
If you walk
through a grocery store, or a hardware store, or almost any
retail establishment, you will find a large selection of
cleansing goods. That's because it's so easy for things to get
dirty. Things get dirty all by themselves. Anything that sits
outside will get dirty. All this 'dirty' creates a huge
market for cleansing products.
The same is
true in the spiritual world. If you go back and take a deep
honest look at all your past actions, including all of your
thoughts, you will find that many polluting influences had
authority over you. Polluting influences are everywhere. The
television, the radio, your friends and neighbors, printed
media, in conversations, and in nearly everything else you see
or hear.
Unless you
are cautious, and ask God for forgiveness daily, your heart,
mind and soul will soon be as polluted as world around you. Even
when you are most careful, you are still a sinner. You will sin
on a daily basis and will need daily bathing or cleansing from
God. You don't find rows and rows of shelves and shelves stocked
with spiritual cleaning products. In a spiritual store, there is
only one spiritual cleaning product. That is the forgiveness of
God. Forgiveness is the spiritual cleanser of all times, and the
only cleanser that cleans spiritually. Nothing else removes
spiritual dirt, and there is no other manufacturer to make a
spiritual cleansing product.
You are a sinner and what do sinners do. They sin constantly.
Sin comes from your heart. Just about every thought you have
brings sin. You are wicked according to the Word of God because
every act that is not an act of God, brings forth sin.
Disobeying God is sin. Daydreaming about having sex is sin.
(Matt 5:28) Feeling hate for someone is sin. Jesus calls that
murder. (John 3:15) Being obsessed with anything other than God
is sin. God knows the truth and is waiting to hear from you. If
you confess your sins, God is faithful and just and will forgive
you your sins and cleanse you of any of your unrighteousness.
