Let Go…

If everyday is not a great day in my mind, Its not the day that's off track, its my mind. On the days I feel God’s presence in my mind, those are the great days with peace. The days I don’t feel God’s presence are the days of confusion and trial and turmoil.

This decision of whether the day is good or not is all in my mind. God never leaves. He is there all the time. I feel this way because there is something going on in my mind. It could be a change God is making in me and I am fighting it, or it could be some hidden reality surfacing in my walk being removed by God.

This is the time to pray. It is the time to renew my faith and commitment to God’s way of doing things rather than getting depressed or intolerant because things are not as I would have them. This always happens when I want things my way, and God says, NO, you’re having them my way. He is not making a problem, I already am the problem. He is making an opportunity a for me to serve Him and I am interpreting His request as a problem. It will remain a problem for me until I trust Him enough to realize it is only another opportunity to serve Him.

Until I serve that opportunity the pain will remain. Once I serve the opportunity, then happiness comes. The depression or intolerance I feel is due to not working in God’s power. I will have this when I get out of His power and it will stay until I let go and get back into His power and use the power to server Him. My power is useless. It only causes depression and aggravation.
