An twmptation does not become a sin until you refuse to correct it and choose to follow it. So, its up to you to make the decision whether or not an temptation becomes a sin. If the temptation becomes a sin, which it usually does, it is because we do not see past our own thoughts. The result of temptation is usually glaring at us, but our ‘self’ will not let us look it in the eye. It will steer us around it using our deep rooted rational thinking for our self. We always let our flesh convince us it is right.

Then comes the consequence. We claim it sneaks up on us, but it was there in clear view when we committed the sin.
