Every Man Shall be
Put to Death for His Own Sins
Deuteronomy 24:16
Deuteronomy 24:16 The fathers shall not be put to death for
the children, neither shall the children be put to death for
the fathers: every man shall be put to death for his own
sin.
Jer 31:29 In those days they shall say no more, The fathers
have eaten a sour grape, and the children's teeth are set on
edge.
Ezek 18:2-3
2 What mean ye, that ye
use this proverb concerning the land of Israel, saying, The
fathers have eaten sour grapes, and the children's teeth are
set on edge?
3
As I live,
saith the Lord GOD, ye shall not have
occasion any
more to use this proverb in Israel.
Ezek
18:20 The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall
not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the
father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of
the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the
wicked shall be upon him.
Ezek 18:4 Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the
father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that
sinneth, it shall die.
2 Kings 14:6 But the children of the murderers he slew not:
according unto that which is written in the book of the law
of Moses, wherein the LORD commanded, saying, The fathers
shall not be put to death for the children, nor the children
be put to death for the fathers; but every man shall be put
to death for his own sin.
2 Chron 25:4 But he slew not their children, but
did as
it is written
in the law in the book of Moses, where the LORD commanded,
saying, The fathers shall not die for the children, neither
shall the children die for the fathers, but every man shall
die for his own sin.
Isaiah 3:10-13
10 Say ye to the
righteous, that it
shall be well
with him: for
they shall eat the fruit of their doings.
11 Woe unto the
wicked! it shall be
ill with him:
for the reward of his hands shall be given him.
Eccl 8:12-13
12 Though a sinner do evil an hundred times, and his
days be
prolonged, yet surely I know that it shall be well with them
that fear God, which fear before him:
13 But it shall
not be well with the wicked, neither shall he prolong
his days,
which are as a
shadow; because he feareth not before God.
Romans 2:9 Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man
that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;
Psalm 128:1-2
1 (A Song of degrees.)
Blessed is
every one that feareth the LORD; that walketh in his ways.
2 For thou shalt
eat the labour of thine hands: happy
shalt thou
be, and
it shall be
well with thee.
Psalms 1:1-6
1
Blessed
is the man
that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth
in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the
scornful.
2
But his
delight is
in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day
and night.
3
And he
shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that
bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall
not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
4
The
ungodly are
not so: but are
like the chaff which the wind driveth away.
5
Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor
sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
6
For the
LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the
ungodly shall perish.
