with Paul and Silas; and of the devout Greeks a great

41 Moreover
concerning a stranger, that
is not of thy
people Israel, but cometh out of a far country for thy
name's sake;
42 (For they shall
hear of thy great name, and of thy strong hand, and of thy
stretched out arm;) when he shall come and pray toward this
house;
Acts 8:27
And he arose and went: and, behold, a
man of Ethiopia, an eunuch of great authority under Candace
queen of the Ethiopians, who had the charge of all her
treasure, and had come to Jerusalem for to worship,
21 The
same came therefore to Philip, which was of Bethsaida of
Galilee, and desired him, saying, Sir, we would see Jesus.
John 1:44
Now Philip
was of Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter.

cometh and telleth Andrew: and again Andrew and Philip tell
Jesus.

in him, God shall also glorify him in himself, and shall
straightway glorify him.

words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and
said, Father, the hour is come; glorify
thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee:

And Jesus answered them, saying,
The hour is come, that the Son of
man should be glorified.

forth much fruit.

that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.

alive and
remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds,

from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour.

said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered,
Thou sayest that I am a king. To this
end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world,
that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is
of the truth heareth my voice.
28 Father,
glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from
heaven, saying,
I have both glorified it,
and will glorify it
again.
Matt 3:17
And lo a voice from heaven, saying,
This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
29 The

30 Jesus
answered and said,
This voice came not because of me,
but for your sakes.
John 11:42 And I knew that thou

principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the
darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high
places.
32 And
I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all
men
unto me.
John 3:14 And as Moses lifted
up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of
man be lifted up:
John 8:28

When ye have lifted up the Son of man,
then shall ye know that I am
he,
and that
I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I
speak these things.

John 18:32
That the saying of Jesus might be
fulfilled, which he spake, signifying what death he should
die.

abideth for ever: and how sayest thou,
The Son of man must be lifted up?
who is this Son of man?

will perform this.

be their prince for ever.

kingdom that
which shall not be destroyed.

whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of

is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and
obey him.

darkness.

blinded his eyes.
