He That Cometh After Me
is Preferred Before Me
John 1:15-19
15 John bare witness of
him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that
cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before
me.
John 3:32 And what he hath
seen and heard, that he testifieth; and no man receiveth his
testimony.
Matt 3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance:
but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes
I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy
Ghost, and with
fire:
Mark 1:7 And preached, saying, There cometh one mightier
than I after me, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy
to stoop down and unloose.
Luke 3:16 John answered, saying unto
them all, I
indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I
cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to
unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with
fire:
Col 1:17 And he is before all things, and by him all things
consist.
16 And of his fulness
have all we received, and grace for grace.
Col 1:19 For it pleased
the Father that
in him should all fulness dwell;
17 For the law was given
by Moses, but
grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.
Exodus 20:1 And God spake all
these words, saying,
Romans 5:21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so
might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by
Jesus Christ our Lord.
John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth,
and the truth shall make you free.
18 No man hath seen God
at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of
the Father, he hath declared
him.
Exodus 33:20 And he said, Thou
